We hope your summer (or winter) is off to a fantastic start! Here in BC, our COVID case numbers are way down, we’re at over 80% of eligible people vaccinated with a single dose, and 46% with two doses. Travel within the country has opened up, and it looks like our international borders will soon too. Which is all great news, because it means we can hold clinics, intensives, and, (wait for it) Carosella!
Carosella 2021
Yes! Carosella is coming back! Our dates are September 24th – 26th. As with previous years, the first two days will consist of workshops and clinics, with the final day set aside for the mounted games, mounted combat, and swordplay tournament. This three day symposium has something for everyone, regardless of riding or swordplay experience, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Cornwall Ridge! Pre-register now to reserve a spot!
Mounted Combat Intensive
We are bringing back Mounted Combat Intensives, and to help you make the most of your time, we are offering a three-day mini-intensive in the week before Carosella. During the intensive you will work on your riding, horsemanship, and swordplay skills to help bring you to a level where you can get the most out of the workshops and competitions offered at Carosella.
The Intensive will run from September 13th – 15th, and the cost includes full entry to Carosella, with a rest day for riders and horses on the 16th. There are two cohorts offered within the Intensive: one for beginners and one for more advanced riders, with small groups so you can work on the skills you most need to hone.
Online Intensive
I realize not all of you are able to travel yet, and that’s why, for the first time ever, I’m offering an Online Intensive to allow you to work through this training at home.
Intensives are normally five days — this one will be five weeks long, starting July 26th. With individual video coaching and group calls I’ll walk you through the Green Spur level of the Cavalier program requirements and help get you and your horse up to speed on the road to knighthood.
